August 12th, 2010

Nursing moms are continually searching for the perfect top to don that is both fashionable and practical. It is feasible to subtly breastfeedin public places, without making use of an additional towel or blanket to hide. Great nursing tops come in different varieties, some are just large shirts, others have a second layer in the front, so you can nurse and cover up with the second layer, and nevertheless others give easy access via openings at the top.

After creating the decision to breastfeed your baby, it is crucial to be sure that you have the needed tops to make the process a straightforward one. The more time a person aims to nurse their child, the more critical it’s to have good nursing tops. Recently clothing designers have done a remarkable job of making tops that are not simply unbelievably practical to nursing mums, but they are stylish too.

Covered Layers Offer Added Coverage.

One of the ways to stay covered is to put on a top that has a concealed additional layer in the front of the shirt. With this type of shirt you lift the first layer up and cover your baby with it. Below you will find a top with double openings for simple breastfeeding. With this type of shirt, you may stay fully protected with the top layer of your shirt. The only disadvantage is that in the beginning, it is a little awkward to get used to discovering where the openings are, so you may need to use a blanket for coverage, while you are getting used to making use of the shirt.

Pull Down Tops Give Ease of Use.

Probably the easiest shirts to use are ones that have some type of closure at the top that you are able to open to allow easy entry for breastfeeding. With this variety of shirt you are the most exposed, so if you are a modest person you will definitely need some variety of cover up, but the ease of use is second to none. These sorts of shirts either have a double opening in an under layer for ease of access or they have a closure that you open up for the feeding, so that you don’t stretch the fabric of the shirt.

The Oversized Shirt.

If you are strictly shopping for a functional top, go ahead and try out an oversized T-Shirt. The nice thing is that any shirt that gives you some extra room will work. Your baby basically goes under your shirt, so you don’t have to worry about being protected up.

It Comes Down To Convenience.

The best nursing top is different for every person. The most critical things to look for have to do with each person individually. If you are a modest person, you will want the types of shirts that allow full coverage; the pull down variety nursing tops won’t work for you. If you are more worried about fashion, pretty much any top will work; simply keep a blanket handy for when you need to cover up.

She Must Be Tired

January 4th, 2009

Some days are better than others for my little girl. Sometimes, she will sleep in until around nine or nine thirty, and stay up all day, and not want to take any naps at all. But then there are some days that all she wants to do is sleep. I think that it is a direct result on how much and how hard she plays during the morning time. The weekends seems to be that time for her. During the week, I am not able to play with her very much and she plays alone most of the time. I wish that I could have more time to play with her, but I have to work. But then on the weekends, when mom gets home, we can play with her forever. Take today, for instance, she does not really get to play like that all time and when mom plays with her all morning she gets really tired out. Today she woke up at seven o clock, and then played until around ten. After that she slept for three and half hours. That is what I call a power nap. She was really tired this time. Power naps really refresh her and get her ready to play in the evening when her mom comes home. My little girl is ready to play and laugh for hours after dinner, when she has had a nice power nap.
