Located handily between Manchester and Sheffield, the Peak District is a perfect escape from the stresses and strains of urban day to day life. If you come from Sheffield or Manchester, it’s accessible in about an hour going by train or car and a great choice for a one or two day break, or even longer. If you’re travelling from further afield, we advise you can stay in the Peak District for 3 or 4 days as there’s much to discover and do in the Peak District.
