Health cover broadly speaking isn’t a priority when planning for a college career. Students are in the mindset where health insurance is the last thing on their mind. Teenagers tend to imagine that they will live forever and naturally they will never get sick. However, irrespective of how fit a person may appear, it is no guarantee of their continuing good health. If you are called for an interview, then it is likely that you will be asked to give a presentation as well.
You need to prepare for your presentation as well as your consultant NHS interview
Here are some tips to help you prepare for your interview presentations
display subjects are supplied to shortlisted candidates with the interview invitation details. It is advisable to use powerpoint for your talk.
The display audience is likely to be different to and larger than the interview panel. You may not receive any warning that this is to happen.
Times allocated can vary from 3 or 5 minutes up to 15 minutes.
Keep the tone light and general, but ensure that you keep to the timings.
You must practice your talk - even if it is only to your spouse or partner. This is one part of the recruitment process that you can fully control and it is often what forms first impressions.
If the display is in an organisation where you have previously worked or where you are well-known, you are likely to feel more nervous than in an organization where most of the audience is unknown. Realize this in advance and practice the talk.
Do not make assumptions about what the audience knows ” present as if you and the audience have little knowledge about each other, and assume some of the audience (eg Lay Chair, Faculty representative) have no or little knowledge of the hospital/ area about which you are talking.
